Visas, person by person
Each traveller’s passport and visas held, with expiry dates, number of entries and whether a visa has been used before. Every result shows its source and the date it was last updated.
// TraWell · the family travel app
From visas and flights to today’s weather and what’s next on the plan. TraWell keeps a multi-city family holiday organised before you go and while you’re there.
Free · iPhone first, Android next · No account needed
One app instead of ten tabs, screenshots and spreadsheets.
Pick a country, start typing a city and choose from the list. Add nights, stay type and meals included. The last stop is marked as your destination.
Enter a flight number to get its departure and arrival times. TraWell shows how far the airport or station is from your last stop and when to leave, with your own buffers added.
A live forecast for each day, with the high, low, humidity and rain at the time of each plan. Tap once for clothing tips based on the weather and where you’re going.
See which countries need a visa and when to apply, based on each person’s passport. Add the visas you already hold and TraWell checks whether they cover the trip.
Take a photo or screenshot of a travel agent’s itinerary. TraWell reads it and builds the route, the dates and each day’s plans.
Sights, breakfast, lunch and dinner in a sensible order, planned for the city you’re in that day. Meals your stay includes are taken into account.
Vegetarian, vegan, Jain, halal, kosher, gluten-free or kid-friendly. Find places that work for everyone in the group.
Keep tickets, bookings and documents on your phone so they open without a signal. Packing checklists come pre-filled with the clothes the climate calls for.
Log expenses by category and by who paid. Snap receipts and switch between local and home currency.
TraWell turns your cities and nights into a day-by-day plan. Each day gets the right city, local time, weather and travel. Book stays on Booking.com, Airbnb or Hostelworld, and hire a car, all from links in the app.
Every day knows where you are.
The homework, done for you.
Each traveller’s passport and visas held, with expiry dates, number of entries and whether a visa has been used before. Every result shows its source and the date it was last updated.
Months ahead, see the usual highs, lows and rain for each city on your dates, then add the clothing list to your packing checklist in one tap.
Set how early you like to reach an airport, a station or a bus stop, and how much time to allow between sights. Times across the trip follow your settings.
// Itinerary
Times, places, notes and who’s going, with a reminder before each stop and directions one tap away. Drag a plan up or down and the times adjust around it.
// Overview
One screen shows the journey from leaving home to coming back. Switch views depending on what you need to see.
// AI planner · built on Claude
Tell TraWell your pace and what matters, like “kids get tired after lunch” or “add a sunset spot”. You get a realistic day with meals placed around opening hours and queues.
// On the trip
Open the app and see what you’re doing now, how long is left and what’s next. Mark plans done as you go.
// Family & maps
Long-press the map to set a meet-up point and share it on WhatsApp or iMessage. You’ll get a reminder ten minutes before.
// Wallet & checklists
Scan paper tickets or attach PDFs and keep documents to hand offline. Work through a ready-made international packing checklist you can reuse on every trip.
// Spend
Every expense with its receipt photo, split by category and by who paid, against your budget. View it in local or home currency.
From an empty phone to a planned holiday.
Add the destination, dates, who’s travelling, their passports and food preferences. Or start from a photo of an itinerary you already have.
Add cities, nights, stays and flights. TraWell fills in flight times, weather, visa requirements and the time each journey takes.
See what’s on now and what’s next, what to wear and when to leave. Keep tickets handy and log spend as you go.
Your trip stays on your phone. No account, no ads, no tracking. TraWell only sends what a feature needs at the moment you use it.
Open the app and start planning.
Your itinerary, tickets, checklists, receipts and visa details are stored on the device.
A city goes out for weather, a flight number for flight times. A photo is sent only when you import an itinerary from it.
Questions travellers ask before they download.
TraWell is coming to the App Store for iPhone first, with an Android version planned next. This page will link to the store as soon as it’s live.
Yes, TraWell is free to download and use.
Your itinerary, wallet, checklists and expenses are stored on your phone and work offline. Maps, directions, live weather, flight times and AI suggestions need a connection.
Visa requirements come from an open passport dataset, and TraWell shows its source and the date it was last updated. Rules change, so always confirm with the embassy or official government website before you book or apply.
Up to 10 days ahead, TraWell uses a live forecast that refreshes on its own. Further out, it shows typical weather for those dates from public climate records. Clothing tips are a guide based on that weather and your plans.
Yes. Take a photo or choose a screenshot or image of the itinerary, and TraWell reads the cities, dates and activities, then builds the trip for you to review and edit.
In this first version each person keeps the trip on their own phone, and you share meet-up points and your location as links. Shared family trips with live locations are on the roadmap.
When you ask it to, TraWell sends the day’s city, your pace, food preferences and anything you type to our planning service, which uses Anthropic’s Claude model. It then shows you a suggested day. Suggestions can be wrong, so always check opening hours and bookings.
